We have just recieved the 2005 vintage on this awesome red from Spain. What a huge surprise this wine has been. It was given 89 Points by Robert Parker which I think was a couple short. It features delicious black cherry fruit...needs nothing more to prove very appealing indeed. Offers a flavor that is exceptionally pure, without extraneous ripeness or sweetness.

This is an awesome find. Intense cherry red colour. Aromas of oak ageing with hints of spices. Strong attack, good backbone, full-flavoured, with well integrated long-lasting tannins. Long and persistent finish. 16 months in American and French oak casks of the Bordeaux type, with racking performed four times. Only released for sale when ready for drinking at its best.
