Chateau Lagrezette Cru Cahors 2002
Chateau Lagrezette Cru Cahors 2002
As my second French wine to be added I picked a wine that made Wine Spectators Top 100. This French wine wont be here long, so get what you can while it's available. This is a single family estate wine, totally organic and made from 100% Malbec. It is a robust, full-bodied and rich French wine. A terrific gift for any wine lover and will cellar for 10+ years. Pair it with meats and hearty stews.

This French wine rated a Best Buy in Wine Enthusiast and given 85 Points. Provides an unusual blend of Chardonnay and Viognier, this French wine combines apple and pear fruit aromas with scents of honey and crushed stones. Plump and medium-bodied, with pear and mineral flavors that add a hint of butter on the finish. Simply a terrific French wine.

Le Grand Noir Cabernet - Shiraz 2003
Le Grand Noir Cabernet - Shiraz 2003

Rated a Best value from Wine Spectator and given 87 Points. This easy drinking red is assertive and flavorfull, with plenty of smoke, dark plum, and herbal flavors. Taste more like Cabernet then Syrah. Needs a thick veal chop.

Olivier LeFlaive Corton-Charlemagne 1999
Olivier LeFlaive Corton-Charlemagne 1999
The complete climate of Corton-Charlemage is situated north of the town of Beaune and has a complete different geologie in comparison to the Grand Crus of the Montrachet. The Grand Cru Corton Charlemagne is produced within the villages of Aloxe Corton, Pernand Vergelesses and Ladoix Serrigny. This great terroir got its name from the famous emperror Charlemagne who ordered the plantation of vines in a big part of his domaine which was offered in 775 to the Abby of Saulieu. The wine from this terroir has an impressive complexity, exclusively due to different soils within the three villages. The wines devellop mineral and homney tones and need at least 5 years or more in bottle before they express their fully potential

Paul Jaboulet Parallele 45 Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2006
Bright coloured. Some vigorous swirling coaxes out some earthy cherry fruit with a pleasant savoury edge. Juicy rounded fruit on the palate with a savoury, slightly mineral edge. Tasty if a little simple. Good/very good turkey wine.
